Weber 3711001

For whatever reason, Weber renamed the Spirit Genesis line for 2007. I've just bought a new Weber Genesis 3 weeks ago (before the name change) after my last one for 11 years. There is a model and a 3-burner stove model 2. If you read what you're looking to design 2-burner.

Excellent product. 2 burners are more than enough, I do not know why they even have a stove burner 3 model since 3 model is not really much more important. 2 The burner model has enough space for the needs of everyday family grilling and entertaining a group of decent size.

There are enough information on this page of the Amazon and the manufacturer, so let me tell you some things I am for my Weber work best for me.

-- Most important ... continue to fall. Amazon sells a ... coverage. None cornice, it will shorten its lifespan in half at least.
-- Coverage funnel shaped fat dish with foil and change regularly, in the fall if they can catch fire and that's not the taste very good steak.
-- Changing the grease traps regularly available (if not, they started to stink).
Get yourself a wire brush quality and use it before each use ... not after. The introduction of the kitchen just after each use actually protects them against the elements.
-- For each use, once you brush the metal gratings, some cooking oil on some paper towels and wipe the grids.
-- Pre-heat the grill to high rate of at least 5 to 10 minutes, he burns a little left of the cleaning and cooking grids is nice and warm.
-- Start cooking steaks, chops, pieces of meat (even hamburgers ... no, not hot dogs) more than just medium heat for no more than 2 minutes on each side and back to before they cook to your taste. This short searing on each side locks in the taste of your piece of meat.
Cook closed with a lid; normal pieces of meat should not exceed a total of 10 minutes (including the searing).
-- Let your meat to serve until 5 minutes before cutting (or a bite). This locks in the juices, as the juice is too hot when you slice (or bite), they will walk right out of your cut of meat.

Weber 3811001

The Weber 3811001 is the same grid that Weber 3711001 with a big difference: 3811001 come natural gas clear line against 3711001, built for use with a propane tank. I recently bought a new Weber Spirit after my last owner for 11 years. It is a 3-burner and a 2-burner model. If you read this, you're looking at the 2-burner model.

Excellent product. 2 burners are more than sufficient, and I do not know why they have a 3-burner model, as the 3-burner model is not really much more. The 2-burner model has plenty of room for the needs of everyday family grilling and entertaining a group of decent size.

It is full information on this page of the Amazon and the manufacturer, so let me tell you some things I'm doing my best Weber work for me.

-- Most important ... keep covered. Amazon sells coverage ... get it. No cornice, it will shorten its lifespan in half at least.
-- Coverage funnel shaped fat drip pan with foil and change it regularly, otherwise the establishment in the trap are flammable and that does not taste very good steak.
-- Changing the grease traps regularly available (if not, they start to feel bad).
-- Obtain a wire brush quality and use it before each use ... and not after. Based on the cooking grid after each use actually protects them against the elements.
Before each use, after you brush metal grids, put some cooking oil on some paper towels and dry roast.
-- Pre-heat the grill on high power for at least 5 to 10 minutes, he burns anything left of the treatment and make cooking grids and pleasant atmosphere.
-- Start cooking steaks, chops, all cuts of meat (not even ... hamburgers, hotdogs not) a little over medium heat for up to 2 minutes on each side and back before the cook to your taste. This brief searing on each side locks in the flavor of your cut of meat.
-- Cook with a lid closed; normal cuts of meat should not take more than a total of 10 minutes (including the searing).
-- Let your meat to serve until 5 minutes before cutting (or bite into it!). This locks in the juices, if the juice is too hot when you slice (or bite), they will run right out of your cut of meat.

You can go there. Hope that helps. And do not forget to cover the grid after it cools. Bon Appetit!

Weber 751001

Ach probalby believes that there is no reason for the 10-year Weber you have in your yard. Well, Weber has shown some smart improvements over the years - the new "gold" model is worth the upgrade.

The axis-catcher is great, one-touch vent system is a big improvement (no more knocking each poison with trowel), the plastic handles stay cool ... you get the idea. Nothing dramatic, but good progress.

But here is the clincher: the adoption of one of these up (takes about 20 minutes, even if you make a mistake or two) make you feel as if you're in heaven. This is the summer. People rhapsodize about the new small car ... well, fughettaboutit. It looks like a shiny new grill that is mounted on can not be better.

Highly recommended accessories: Coal companion. Your place of lighter fluid (or your MatchLight) road and use this site - now works flawlessly, and it is better for the environment.

Weber 1780001

We looked at numerous box store stainless gas grills and after reading many opinions indicating the cheaper grills don't hold up more than around two years, we realized to own a grill with longevity it would have to be a Weber Summit.
The initial cash outlay is significantly more but will pay for itself by providing years of dependable service and if there ever is a problem is backed by a well known, in it for the long haul, reputable company.

The boxed grill arrived perfect, supported in a heavy-duty plastic shipping base strapped to a wooden pallet. Assembly was quick and simple with picture type instructions.

We have owned the grill for about a month and are extremely satisfied with its performance. We were impressed by the following features: Super heavy-duty 3/8" dia. stainless steel cooking grates that leave perfect grill marks, cooking grates are mounted flush with the opening at the front making it convenient to insert a quick read thermometer sideways into the center of your food and allowing the lid to be closed on the thermometer keeping the heat in, easy to access and clean stainless drip trough, flavorizer bars provide a nearly charcoal flavor, heats up to 700 degrees in 3-4 minutes at 85 degrees outside temp, smoker burner can be switched on in normal mode providing an additional 8,000 BTU, all burners light nearly instantly with the turn of each knob, tip-up battery lights are very effective and provide a bright white light in the optimum location.

The smoker system is extremely convenient and allows you to control the grill down to the 225 degree range with just the smoker burner on that is ideal for indirect slow smoke cooking ribs, briskets, vegetables. The stainless smoker box is easily removable for cleaning and the top is hinged to provide easy access to allow additional wood chunks/chips to be added during the smoking process.

Rotisserie burner is mounted in the ideal location up along the back center of the interior shell of the unit out of the way. The spit is easily serviceable during cooking and provides an adjustable location for two items approximately 10" diameter.

The only negatives we have seen: discoloration of a small painted area on either side of the main grill cover as a result of the smoke exiting the grill only when the smoker is used, the weight of the unit made it a challenge to get it into place.
